St Maximilian Kolbe, better known as Kitengela GK Prison, was the venue of a rare commissioning ceremony, purely for prison inmates, on Saturday the 3rd of August, 2024.
This was an act of mercy prepared by the CMA of Noonkopir Parish in liaison with the Diocese of Ngong prisons Chaplain,Fr.Selembo and the prison authorities.
The main celebrant was His Grace, Rt Rev Fr John Oballa Owaa, the Bishop of Ngong Diocese.
During the colourful ceremony 17 prisoners were Confirmed and 30 commissioned.
