Introduction
It has been a long journey since 2017 Annual General Assembly (AGA) when the idea was accepted as a means to enhance communication in the Diocese among members. The website is finally here after executive members pledged and paid towards the hosting, domain and setup ad maintenance fees for one year.
Features
This website has the following features
- Dual language- The user may select either English or Kiswahili, the two official languages in Kenya by clicking and selecting at the top right corner flag. The default language is however English where translation has not been done.
- Mobile friendly - the website is designed to fit onto any device that one may have and especially smart mobile phone where the majority of members shall access from.
- Members Area- The site has a member’s area which will require signup and logon for access. In this area those allowed shall be allowed to give their profile and communicate among other registered members and share privy information, such as forms and feedback to members etc.
- Event Calendar – at the site an events calendar will be close at hand to help keep up with National, diocesan, Deanery and Parish events as they occur.
- Gallery - Nothing tells a story like a picture. The site shall allow uploading of pictures of events and occasions to some allowed users for the benefit of all and sundry to appreciate the goings on.
- Member Contributions - Members shall be able to contribute to the content by commenting on articles, blogging, originating new articles and setting up their own profiles to improve networking.
